Neat graphics, lots of levels, addictive game play, simple controls
Mutation Mash for Android is a fun new puzzle game that takes the match three puzzle genre and mutates it into a monster of it's own calling. In this game you will need to match animals together to create large mutated monsters.
On each level in this game, you will have a certain goal to meet. Whether it's a large mutated polar bear, a reindeer mutant, or a combination of the two, you'll always have some kind of mutation to work towards. Each animal will mutate when there is a selection of animals surrounding it. The exact criteria for a mutation will vary depending on the animal. For example, a reindeer will need a small 'L' shape made out of three reindeer before mutating, whilst the polar bear needs a simple line of three bears.
As you start to progress through the game, you'll learn more mutation combinations, and you'll also need to combine your mutants together to make even more mutated creatures. Animals are constantly fed onto the screen, so you have to act quickly and choose what lane you'd like each animal be placed on before they hit into the other animals. If the screen fills up before you complete the level goal, you will lose the level.
On top of the main levels, there is an interesting animal collection system that will allow players to create their own mutation farm that harvests mutant power ups from collected animals on the field. This system uses time based building, so upgrading your farms will take a considerable amount of down time.
Mutation Mash is completely free to play, but the mutation building system implements some in-app purchases into the game.
