Blast away enemies with a-meow-sing ease

Decent 2D graphics
Features intrusive ads, poor quality sound effects, bugs
Cat Hero is a 2D platforming game that lets users enjoy battling endless hordes of enemy animals using only well timed jumps and a trusty gun.
Gameplay is something rather odd. Our ball cap wearing feline protagonist runs automatically along the terrain, with players shooting and jumping over pitfalls and on top of enemies. Unlike most platform games, where the player is able to trigger a double jump in order to reach otherwise inaccessible places, Cat Hero users are able to jump up to four times without touching the ground. Unfortunately due to the game’s design this means that most of the in-air time is spent off the screen. Controls are highly simplistic with successive taps triggering jumps, while the attack button unleashes a hail of bullets upon enemies.
Over the course of the game players are able to collect coins. These are used in large amounts to unlock customization options in the shop. Unfortunately the game has a slight design flaw, the shop does not allow players to see what skin they are spending their hard earned coins on.
Overall Cat Hero for Android is a very poorly designed game. It features decent 2D graphics, which contrast the poor quality sound effects. Unfortunately the high number of issues that need ironing are a huge deterent. One such issue is the pathing, which causes the main character to fall through the ground to his death. Another big issue with the game is the poor responsiveness for jumps.
