Unusual game design, neat graphics, lots of levels, addictive game play
We've all played matching games or the classic card game snap with friends or family, and as the digital world has evolved, it has been one of the most recreated games in the world. Memory game - Memory Cat for Android is yet another memory matching game that offers a bit of originality when it comes to interface design.
In terms of gameplay, there isn't too much to talk about here. This game starts you off with just six cards that you must try to match. You can turn over two cards at once, and if they match they are removed from the screen. If they do not match, they will be turned back over, and you will need to try and remember the location of each card. There are pairs of every card in the game, so there will always be cards to match. Once all cards are matched the level will be completed.
An interesting feature that is quite unique to this game is that cards you've turned over will be marked with a small dot - this will help you to keep track of which cards you've turned over. This is very important for levels later on in the game that have dozens of cards on each screen. Every time you complete a level for the first time, you will be awarded with some coins, and these can be spent on new card themes.
The first card theme is cats, as you can guess by the name of the app, and there are plenty of illustrated cat themed cards in this deck. Players will enjoy the colorful, friendly graphics on this game, and the interface is also superb, making it easy to jump in and play at any point without any fuss.
Memory game - Memory Cat is free to download and play, and there are no in-app purchases. You will have to deal with advertisements in-game however.
