A great Witcher MOBA

Fun and entertaining gameplay, simplified controls that get out of your way when you play, lots of characters to explore and learn
The game suffers from performance issues
Multiplayer Online Battle Arenas (MOBAs) have completely overtaken the PC gaming scene. Games like DOTA2 and League of Legends had completely reshaped competitive gaming, and now we have a pretty competent MOBA on a mobile device. The Witcher Battle Arena for Android is a 3v3 MOBA that is attached to a really popular and well regarded PC-centric IP -- The Witcher.
This game takes popular characters from the game franchise, and throws them in several arena battles together. Unlike traditional MOBAs, this one is about controlling capture points throughout several levels. Each level is considerably different than the others, but are all straight forward and well balanced.
Each hero has three unique abilities that you can choose to level up as you see fit. You can also customize each hero with items that have different attributes. You can have a lot of fun with these, but you can also min-max them, and certain items are definitely meant for specific builds. Unfortunately, these items aren’t like what you would find in a normal item shop. Instead, it’s almost like you’re speccing your character’s attributes.
As you play through games, you also level your characters outside of the game which is persistent through each play through. Right now you have to purchase characters, but there is a rotation of free characters every week as well.
The Witcher Battle Arena is really fun and easy to get in to. Unfortunately, the game suffers from some pretty massive slow down and stuttering. I tested this on an M8, which is still considered high end, and the game had frequent problems running at a steady rate. If you’re looking to get your MOBA fix on a phone, here it is.
