We often see plenty of mobile games that borrow concepts from other popular apps, but Flower House for Android is an interesting mobile game that features very unique gameplay. In this game, you can let your green thumb skills blossom as you grow flowers, and breed different varieties to make unique plants.
When you first start this game you will be taken through a fairly lengthy tutorial, which is understandable considering the unique nature of the game. In the tutorial, the game mechanics will be explained. Basics such as how to grow a new plant, and how to tend to those you already own will be explained, and eventually the tutorial will lead to explain how players can combine seeds to create unique hybrid plants.
A lot of this game is based around player exploration and discovery - combining different plants can make vastly different results, and it will take time and patience to find the best varieties. There isn't an infinite supply of plants to discover, but there are a lot. In fact, there are a total of 116 different variants that you can grow, and it will take at least a few weeks of consistent play to get anywhere close to this number.
To make gameplay more interesting, you'll be handed various 'missions' or objectives that can be completed. Completing objectives will reward you with experience and resources needed to unlock and grow better plants. The objectives are also coupled up with fairly interesting stories that are played out by in-game characters.
Flower House is free to download and play, but the game features a system that makes progressing to more unique flowers very slow unless you spend real cash on in-app purchases.
