Neat graphics, lots of levels, addictive game play, simple controls
In Nimble Squiggles for Android, you must direct a group of paint splatters through each level as you dodge obstacles and aim to reach each corresponding colored portal. The game is free and comes with 60 levels across multiple stages.
The concept of this game is very unique - by holding down your finger on the screen, any paint splatters in the area will start to follow your finger. You will need to carefully guide the paint splatters through each level and lead them into portals. By bringing all of the paint splatters into the portal you will complete the level.
Things start to get interesting when multiple different colored portals and paint splatters are present in a single level. You will need to move each paint splatter into the right colored portal to finish the level. In some cases, you will come across doors that are color coded, and only the same colored paint splatters can enter it. As you can imagine, a lot of thinking has to go into getting past many of the levels.
If you manage to complete a level without missing a single paint splatter, you will be rewarded with a medal, whilst completing a level within a short time span will reward you a second medal. Because of this, each level can be played once when you are new to the game, and replayed later on when you're more confident with the game mechanics.
The unique art style in Nimble Squiggles really helps the game to stand out, and the groovy soundtrack also compliments the original gameplay. This game is free to download, although there is a single in-app purchase for $0.99 that removes adverts and gives you free hints on how to beat each level.
