Quality graphics, online multiplayer, lots of levels, interesting plot
Stormfall: Rise of Balur for Android is a strategy MMO game that allows players to gather up resources and build their own bases. Whilst building, players can train troops and set out to attack other player bases. At the end game, players must rely on one another by joining guilds to stand a chance at surviving incoming attacks from other players.
This game will take you through a rather long tutorial as it explains the back story to the game and the basic game mechanics. You are handed a large castle, but to begin with there are no buildings within the castle grounds. You must build a variety of different buildings to acquire resources and build troops.
As you can imagine, different buildings offer different resources or benefits, and players must decide how to make use of the limited tiles available to make the most effective city. Creating more buildings will cost different resource types, and these can be earned through other buildings, or through raiding other players.
Unfortunately, the concept of this game has been seen a million times before. Whilst the developers have done a good job to make sure everything is working as smoothly as possible, there are little differences between this game and others available. One thing you may like about this game is the voiced dialogue and in-game story that goes with the MMO gameplay. You'll also notice that the graphics and artwork in this game are of very high quality.
In summary, Stormfall: Rise of Balur is a well developed strategy MMO game that relies on player time and resource management. Unfortunately there are already dozens of similar games in the Google Play store like this game, and Rise of Balur fails to stand apart.
