Review LOPO: The Game
Simulator endless races from the 80s

Decent animation, interesting graphics, simple controls
Lopo for Android is a mildly frustrating timekiller that fails to impress on nearly every front. The graphic style is nice enough, in a bright and blocky sort of way. And the banner ads are unobtrusive. But that’s just about where the intrigue ends with this one.
Tap left and right to move your car, and try to get it through openings in walls that keep coming your way. The game is basically a 5 lane endless runner, but is presented like it’s on a track that you keep racing around. I found the difficulty far too high, right from the start. You just don’t have time to move the car to the right position, even if you look ahead at what’s coming your way. Your car doesn’t move fast enough to get across 5 lanes in time.
I found the music score instantly grating. I saw little point in replaying the game many times, as I couldn’t improve my score through practice. Your only hope might be to try this out on an older device, that might hopefully run it a bit slower!
Lopo is an idle timewaster at best. But with no reason to keep playing, I didn’t even find it a good way of killing some time. This one will captivate for minutes at best. The devs need to bring down the difficulty to make the game feasible.
