Easily make captions.. very quickly
Not very useful, very niche
Quick for Android is a very simplistic photo application that aims to make managing captions and photos easier. Through the app, you can view the most recent pictures and then you can also view gallery pics. From there you can crop a picture and paste your text on your photo in a variety of fonts and colors.
While Quick doesn’t really offer that much in terms of being a powerful application with a lot of features, it does have a great scheme about it. It’s extremely simple to pick a picture and then add a caption to it. It must have taken some work designing an application with such a minimalist interface, and I think overall, the app is a success even if it doesn’t do that much. Caption fans will love the ease of use of the app, and others… well - they won’t find much use here. That doesn’t mean that the captioning isn’t any good, however. You can change the font for your caption and there are a wide variety of colors available on the color wheel to choose from.
The fonts have a range of styles from; plain styles to more artsy ones. It’s equally easy to place the words or sentences by tapping and dragging. There are also guidelines with the lines drawn on the picture to provide precise placements for your captions.
Quick is an app that is hard to say a lot about. It’s a quick app after all, that gets the job done, with a minimal amount of steps. Pick your picture (easily from the main screen which shows your last pictures) or choose it from your preferred gallery. Then, it’s caption time.
