Review Strawberry Sweet Shop

Quality sound, decent graphics, interesting plot, simple controls
Dependence on in-app purchases
Strawberry Sweet Shop for Android is a fun recreational game that is aimed at a younger audience. In this game, players are given the chance to create different smoothie recipes by following in-game instructions.
Players will go through different processes as they make their own smoothies, and will be able to choose from a wide variety of toppings, additives, liquids and decorations. The smoothie making process takes around 4-5 minutes to complete, at which point the player's smoothie will be evaluated.
When first playing this game, the amount of ingredients you will be able to use will be limited, and it seems as if the only clear way to unlock them is through in-app purchases. The same can be said about the recipes, as at the beginning you are given only one recipe to make. If you do manage to get a 5/5 star rating when creating this recipe by following the recipe instructions carefully, future requests are fairly limited, and in some cases impossible to complete without spending money on the game.
Children may find this game a lot of fun as the smoothie making process encourages creativity and smart thinking. But left with your device alone, your child could easily wrack up a hefty bill for in-app purchases, because the game seems to consist ntly force-feed them to players.
The graphics and sounds are okay, and there is a small back story to the game, but for the most part Strawberry Sweet Shop is completely dependent on in-app purchases, making it hard for the average player to enjoy for more than a few minutes.
