Disco Bees for Android might just be the grooviest match 3 game you'll ever lay your hands on. So if you think you can handle the buzz of the disco bee dance, read on to find out just what makes this particular game so unique.
As always, there is one objective here: match up three or more of the same colored bees by swiping tiles in any direction. Matching tiles will give you points, and you will need a certain amount of points to move on to the next level. It's a concept we've seen in a million match 3 games before, but what makes this game extra groovy is its interesting level design, and great background soundtrack.
Unlike most match 3 games, each level has a different shape that are all made out of different hexagonal tiles. Because of the different level shapes, you will always have to rethink your strategies, because the bee tiles will never fall the same way twice. There are a variety of different levels within different themes, and there is definitely enough content to keep you entertained for hours.
Now on to the other area of this app that has got us all chuckling: the bees in this game can't seem to keep still, and all they want to do is dance. Every time you complete a level, a funky disco tune will start, and the bees will start to groove to the music. I think this is a pretty hilarious touch to the game, and it adds a humorous sense of character to the app. As an added bonus, the graphics are pretty decent too, despite being completely 2D.
Disco Bees does have in-app purchases that will help you to complete more challenging levels. But aside from that, the game is free to download and play.
