Neat graphics, multiplayer mode, lots of levels, simple controls
Wartune: Hall of Heroes for Android is a fun quest based RPG game that takes you across various mission zones as you complete tasks and fight creatures in the area. As you play, you unlock more gear and level up your character to get stronger. There are also a variety of different choices a player can take to make their own game experience unique.
You will first have to choose a character among a selection of different classes. Each class will have a different bonus, such as extra magic attack or increased critical damage. The difference between each character is minimal, but it is nice to have such an option in the game.
Once you have chosen a character, you will be taken into a small cut scene as the back story of the game is explained a little. The story in the game has been thought through thoroughly, and I have to say that you'll definitely enjoy it if you are a fan of the story in games such as Final Fantasy.
The graphics in this game are incredible. The developers have hired a great artist to create detailed and stylized characters, monsters, and scenes. In terms of actual gameplay, it's fairly straightforward, but enjoyable nonetheless. You walk around a level from a top down view searching for quest objectives. If you come across any monsters, tapping on them will lead you into a combat screen. Combat uses a turn-based system, and you will be able to choose different attacks and attack targets each turn.
Wartune: Hall of Heroes is free to download, although there are in-app purchases that can improve the overall game experience.
