Review Chaos Control - GTD Task List

8.6Excellent
Great organization, multi-use app
Feels very business oriented
Chaos Control: GTD Task List for Android is a robust to-do list and task manager that fits for both work and at-home scheduling. Inside the app you can create projects, and inside those projects you can create tasks. You can also set up contexts to easily look at any task, which works through hashtags. The app also utilizes a system called the Chaos Box, which you can quickly create tasks to organize later.
I really like the simple interface inside the app. The main home screen of the app is through the daily plan tab. Here you can see the dates and days through a side-scrolling panel. Then from the selected day you can see information like tasks. You can also access the monthly view calendar to easily switch between weeks. Overall, the white, grey, and blue color scheme matched with the simple layout feels clean and most importantly, organized.
When you aren’t looking over your daily plan, you can create projects to organize your tasks in. You might choose to create a “Work” project, a “Home” project, and even a “Holiday Shopping project”. In each one of these projects you can separate tasks inside the projects which act like folders for the files, which are the tasks. This is a powerful organizational system that encourages you to use Chaos Control for a majority of your organizational needs.
Creating notes in Chaos Control is very standard and contains the same sort of interface that I have seen in many calendar and note taking applications. You have your note title, the note information, the project, and the date. There is a refreshing amount of limited options, but I can’t ever help wish for there to be a better way of making notes that looks more pleasing than just a simple form layout. However, your notes will most likely be short, so I suppose its fine for getting the job done; which this app is great about.
Chaos Control: GTD Task List will organize the Chaos in your life if you decide to invest in it, and let it. There is also a premium version available with more options like cloud sync and a computer app to use.
