Ms. PAC-MAN for Android has arrived

Classic game in mobile form
No innovations, controls feel sloppy on touch screen
Ms. PAC-MAN for Android is a simple version of Ms. PAC-MAN. It plays exactly the same, and looks exactly the same except for some added menus here and there. There is nothing about the game that should surprise avid Ms. PAC-MAN fans. In a way, that's a very good thing, and in others, it just feels a little expensive for an app that really doesn't do much to warrant its price; except that it holds the license under the developer.
When I jumped into the game I got what I expected. It’s like PAC-MAN except with a girly PAC-MAN who has a mole on her face. Now that I think about it, why is she called Ms. “PAC-MAN”, and not “Ms. Pac-Woman”? If nothing else, this game continue on the mystery for many years to come.
Fans of the game will be delighted to find that there aren't any annoying intrusions like microtransactions or ads, but they might be less enthusiastic about the control scheme. Simply put, Ms. PAC-MAN is not a good game for mobile phones. That is, if you want to get a half-way decent score. The developers seem to be aware of the handicap, as they offer two control options: one of which is completely horrible, and the other which feels only mostly clunky. If I were to use some sort of small joystick like on traditional Ms. PAC-MAN or PAC-MAN arcade games; the game would feel entirely different. Part of the joy of Ms. PAC-MAN is playing it on a standing rig; and the mobile form will never have that. All that is left is a game that feels frustratingly unfair at times.
Ms. PAC-MAN is simply Ms. PAC-MAN, and the mobile form doesn't always cut in in terms of getting exact movements and maintaining the fun factor.
