Comical top down shooter
Author: Ollie Green
Date: 03 Apr 2017, tested on Samsung GT-I9500 Galaxy S4
Neat graphics, exciting plot, unusual game play, convenient controls
Crashes from time to time
There's nothing cooler than a special agent with slicked back hair and a pair of shades. Or at least that's what the main character in Agent Awesome for Android will try to tell you. In this game, you will assume control of a super slick agent as he goes through all sorts of crazy missions, alongside his assistant.
The story behind this game is perhaps one of the most comical mobile stories you'll ever hear, and the developers have set up plenty of laughs throughout the game; whether it's through cut scenes, in-game dialogues, or simply via props or items within the game. It's not just about the humor though - there is a good game here, and it's definitely worth giving it a go.
In this game, you must follow a set path in a level and solve any problems that may get in your way. Whether you're looking for puzzles, action-packed shooting, or other kinds of fun, it's bound to be in this game somewhere. You'll go from shooting it out with master chefs to avoiding security sharks dressed for war.
The game does, unfortunately, crash every now and then on some devices. Even on the Galaxy S4 that I reviewed this game on, it seemed to have problems. This can ruin the experience a little, especially when there is no in-level save system. You need to complete a full level in one sitting for it to save your progress.
Agent Awesome is free to download and install, and for the most part in-app purchases are almost non-existent, which is great.
