Review Traffic: Illegal Road Racing 5
High speed traffic racer

Date: 30 Mar 2017, tested on Samsung GT-I9500 Galaxy S4
Quality 3D graphics, lots of levels, addictive game play, simple controls
Being stuck in rush hour traffic is not fun, but unlike in Traffic: Illegal Road Racing 5 for Android, we simply have to sit there and wait it out. I, like many others, have probably daydreamed about being able to zip between the gaps in the traffic though, and with this game, you will finally have the chance to do this.
The great thing about this game is that it's controls are very responsive, which makes speeding up, breaking and changing lanes very easy - this is important because as you get better at the game you will start to zip past traffic at incredibly fast speeds. To play this game, you simple have to tilt your device to change lane, and use the on-screen buttons to break or reverse.
You will be given points consistently over time, as long as you stay over a certain speed limit. If you skim traffic at high speeds, you will be given bonus points, and these points will then be tallied up after you crash or after the time has ran out, depending on whether you pick the standard game mode or the time trial mode.
Your points will convert into coins at the end of each run, and these coins can then be spent on new vehicles, car spray paints and upgrades to the cars you already own. It's nice to see that there is a lot to spend your earnings on, but even without this kind of progression, the game is still great fun to play, and it's fast paced traffic dodging game mechanics are surprisingly addictive. The graphics in this game are also very impressive, and the app is filled with all sorts of real time lighting and shadow effects.
Traffic: Illegal Road Racing 5 is completely free to download, but it can be hard to earn enough coins to upgrade or buy new cars unless you spend real money on in-app purchases.
