3 challenging difficulties, simple design

Twelve - Hardest Puzzle for Android is a confusing puzzle game that makes you think you’re doing really well until you suddenly find yourself staring at the game over screen. All you’re trying to do is pair matching numbers together until you reach the number twelve.
As you pair the numbers they go up in increments of 1. So if you match a pair of 2s then you’ll get one 3 and a new number will pop up. If you match a number with a blank space then you’ll receive no match but a new number will pop up. If you’re not careful, you’ll find yourself space-less and then it’s game over.
The game takes a lot of strategy and planning, and I found it to be pretty engaging and fun. One thing the game doesn’t do very well is explain the strategy behind it. It doesn’t explain to you that matching numbers have to be able to connect to each other through an unobstructed path. There are three difficulties that play more aggressively against you, but felt that they were all pretty fair.
The app itself looks great and has a pretty simple design. The sound matches the design well, and performance is smooth.
Overall, Twelve - Hardest Puzzle is another really fun numbers game, but I recognize number puzzle games aren’t for everyone. This one is pretty fast paced and you feel like you can make progress without having to put a lot of effort into thinking about it in the beginning. The design is minimal and performance is great.
