Decent animation, quality 3d graphics, simple controls, quality physics
Do you have what it takes to become a bandit of the road? In High Speed Race: Racing Need you will be able to find out. Hop into your car, rev your engines and get ready for the race of your life as you speed past oncoming traffic, tailgate other racers and slowly edge your way into first place.
As soon as you boot up this game, you will be thrown into the racing action - there isn't really that much of an introduction, but luckily things are fairly straight forward. By default, your car will accelerate automatically, giving you the space to focus on your steering, which can be done by tilting your device. The physics in this game are pretty decent for a racing game, although the steering feels a little "slidey" at times, so you will need to practice drifting to keep yourself on the road.
There are a variety of different race types, including standard races, eliminations and even solo checkpoint games, all of which keep things mixed up. Like many similar racing games currently on the market, things will start off easily, but as you progress other racers will become faster and more skilled, and you will need to spend your earned race income on tuning up your ride to stand a better chance at winning more races.
Whilst a lot of racing games take a more realistic approach, this game is all about speed, so you'll be able to pick up various power ups whilst racing which can increase your speed for a short period of time, give you a nitro boost, and even award you with extra coins.
You may have to spend a bit of extra time going over races to earn enough income to improve your ride later on in High Speed Race: Racing Need, otherwise you will need to spend on in-app purchases, but besides from this the game is completely free.
