Neat graphics, record chart, addictive game play, convenient controls
Tetris is one of the most classic games in the world, and 1010! for Android attempts to take the well known boundaries of the age old classic and completely break them. In this new age rendition of Tetris, you'll find that things have been made to be a bit more compatible for the mobile generation.
You won't be given much of an intro to this game, and that's because one isn't really needed - you will be provided with a row of different shaped blocks that you can drag and place onto the field that is provided to you. Unlike in Tetris, the blocks will not fall from the sky, so you can think carefully about how to place each block.
The only limiting factor in this game is the amount of blocks you are allowed to place down. To gain more blocks, you must clear lines on the field, so it eventually becomes more and more difficult to clear lines without running out of moves. Because you can always gain more moves for playing the game well, there's really no limit to how much score you can earn, and this has given a lot of players the drive to score higher on the leader boards.
Whilst the graphics in this game are very simple, the interface has been made to getting your head round it incredibly easy, and more developers should aspire to make their in-game user interfaces like this in the future.
1010! is free to download and play, although you can pick up various in-app purchases to remove ads or perform other functions.
