Review Paplinko

Ollie Green
Can be played without in-app purchases, quality game play, convenient controls, interesting physics
Lags a bit, bad physics, aggressive ad system
Is fun really just a bounce away? According to the developers of Paplinko for Android it is! In this review, that question will be answered. For those unaware, this game is an arcade title that features an easy to understand concept that takes preparation and good thinking to master. Learn more about the game below!
When you boot up this game, you will be thrown straight into the action with a simple, single prompt to explain the controls. Players can tap the screen to drop a small ball into the game, or drag their finger to aim a more precise direction for the ball to follow. In a similar fashion to a pinball game, the ball will bounce off of the other static balls laid out across the screen.
You will gain score for hitting each ball, and hitting balls in succession will boost up your score. Your ball will then fall down into the bottom of the screen, and this is where you will have a chance to grab a variety of different rewards, including bonus score, free balls and extra prizes.
To make things even more fast paced, you can drag up to five balls into the game screen at once - things can get pretty hectic once this happens, but it is a sure fired way to increase your game score quickly.
There isn't any story for Paplinko, and the graphics and user interface could be much better, but the actual gameplay can be fun for a few minutes here and there. We'd suggest checking out this app if you are a fan of arcade games that can be picked up and played at any point in the day.
