Tinder for Android is a popular dating app that follows a “like” or “like-not” method. Inside the app you click heart of X to show your preference. The app collects your data and then once someone likes you back, you are matched up with them. It’s a good sound theory, and one reason the app has gotten so popular.
I like the way the app works because it makes finding girls (or guys) very easy. Although, you do have to go through a lot of possible candidates and rate them in order to give a good amount of data to increase your odds of finding a girl (or guy). There doesn’t really seem a way to manually pick someone and start messaging them without being matched up, which is interesting. So its easier in terms of going through a large population, but harder just to pick individuals individually. However, you can look at their basic profile information.
In terms of its usability, Tinder excels. It has an extremely simple and good looking interface that makes using the app frustration free. You can rate people, look at matches, or look at recent activity and moments. From the tab on the left you can see and edit your profile, app settings, discovery preferences and more. I really have no complaints about how Tinder feels because of how very clean it feels.
Tinder is a great dating app and one that deserves its huge user base. I would be careful while using this app, because I did manage to get a user trying to scam me only after using it a few hours. I had a pretty girl message me and try to get me to click on a link. The link didn’t take me anywhere, and proved to be an error, but shortly after she vanished without a trace. So if you get weird vibes from matches, be wary!
