Zombies, constant stream of new mechanics, fun gameplay
Limited play time due to required in-game resources
Zombie Evil 2 for Android is a game about, well, zombies. You've been pushed back, and established a base of operations, but now it's time to go out on the offensive. Build, upgrade, and unlock your way to complete zombie annihilation.
This is a game that puts fun before anything else, and what could be more fun than mowing down hordes of zombies with an awesome turret? Exactly, nothing.
Each level consists of defending your turret against waves of zombies. There are several enemy types and new ones get added in on a regular basis. This helps add some varying gameplay mechanics to keep it from getting old. Each wave gets progressively harder, and sometimes you'll get a warning sign which let's you know you're in for an entire throng. Sometimes they step it up a notch and speed the zombies up just to freak you out a bit more.
Fortunately, there is a bit of a base building element and cool upgrades. In between each level you'll go back to your base where you can do a number of different things. You can purchase new weapons, upgrade existing ones, and research defensive structures. The defensive structures are placed by you at the beginning of each level, but you're limited to what you can use.
The game lets you equip weapons on the fly, which creates in-depth gameplay mechanics. There are some enemy types that will swarm you, but can be easily dealt with using a flamethrower. Weaker units can succumb to heavy machine gun fire.
All in all, Zombie Evil 2 is an extremely fun turret based game. There is a good amount of gameplay mechanics to keep things interested and cool upgrades and items to discover, which will keep you coming back. It's got great graphics and a decent soundtrack. Overall it's just a great game.
