Addictive game play, simple controls
Repetitive soundtrack, lots of ads
Adrenaline Rush - Miami Drive for Android and a time machine back to the 70’s. Reconnect with the old times and get immersed in the unique atmosphere and funk music they provide in this endless runner game that challenges the player to a high speed getaway.
Hit the road on the streets of sunny Miami with Ray Carlton, the game’s protagonist, a bad boy that never likes to play by the rules. Speed limits and traffic rules mean nothing to Ray Carlton as you will soon find out.
The controls are as simple as possible. Tapping left and right will maneuver your car past oncoming traffic and escape in a high speed chase with the cops on your back. The road is fairly open allowing you to quickly dart between cars, oil spills and bollards, all while trying to drive trough power-ups and coin lines. The in-game currency is used to buy new cars, consumables and upgrades for a smoother run. Each mission has you perform certain objectives in order to be fully completed. They range from driving on the opposite lane and avoiding the incoming traffic, to performing takedowns on cars, without totaling your car.
Overall Adrenaline Rush - Miami Drive is a fun and addictive racing game that does a good job combining solid, action packed gameplay with comic book style visuals to play out the story for you but it’s just for a short period of time. Despite the fun, action packed gameplay, it, like most infinite runner games, stumbles into the same pitfalls, namely monotony and repetitiveness.
