Great for designers, no ads
Croma for Android is an app where you can make and find matching color schemes. It’s a great app for designers, web designers, or even digital artists.
You simply tap to create a palette then you have a few options to choose from. You can either get a palette from image, from color, of add colors manually. When you get a palette from image, you get a variety of colors from the image. I used a picture of yellow grass and a poppy, and I got a warm yellow, a brown, a light green, a light pink, and a reddish pink. Each one of these colors have html color codes that you can use on websites, like #9fa595.
When you chose get palette from color, you first pick a color and then you get a variety of colors to go with other colors. You can choose complementary colors, split complementary, split complementary CW, split complementary CCW, triadic, clash, tetradic, four tone CW, and four tone CCW. As you can see, there are a lot of options to chose from, and most of which only professionals can even begin to understand.
Croma also doesn’t have adds. There is a pro version, but this version seems very powerful for what it does, how helpful it could be, and how convenient it is. It’s a simple app to help you find color combinations, but it could be a useful app.
