Finger vs Axes is a comically fun game that is so simple to play that anyone can dive right in. What happens when a mighty god like finger creature plays shenanigans on an unsuspecting warrior? Madness and an epic battle ensue.
The game has a rather unique and amusing art style that is coupled with a great soundtrack that is not too serious, yet not too boring, just right to set the fast paced, action packed mood this game requires. Level design varies from lush forests to the outskirts of a city and even a fall through a dark hole where you must lob giant boulders at the persistent warrior.
To control the finger is as simple as swiping on the screen, in fact that is exactly how you play. As long as your finger is on the screen, then the in game finger character will follow your own, dodging projectiles and hitting enemies. Taking your finger off the screen will almost instantly pause the game, allowing you to equip items that you have purchased between fights.
Overall Finger vs Axes for Android is a fun game to play, whether you enjoy the challenging difficulty of the higher levels or even if you just play it for the hugely amusing design. The ads that pop up between almost every level are a bit of a nuisance, however when you see your finger equip dual axes, only to be confronted by a tank that starts lobbing cannonballs at you, it makes you forget about the pop-up that gave you some useless info, or you can simply pay to remove the ads.
