Super fast archiving tool
Author: Tariq Abdulla

Powerful functionality, functions quickly, completely free, no ads
May not work all the time with some proprietary archive types
RAR for Android is a simple, fast compression and extraction tool that can create and unpack the major archive file types like RAR, ZIP, TAR, apk, 7z etc. It doubles up as a really fast file manager. It would be great for example, for archiving all of your photos in one go and emailing them to yourself. And then quickly deleting all your photos to free up some serious space on your overwhelmed Android gizmo.
RAR is really fast to use, and you really quick thumbnails for files like your pictures, that makes it a breeze to quickly manage them. You can quickly navigate up the levels of folder structures to get a real idea of what's actually on your device. You can add folders to favourites to easily find them again from the side menu. There are a few sensible favourites already added, such as Downloads. From within the side menu you can navigate up multiple levels, and can easily select where you want to go to. The icons could perhaps be a little more intuitive, but RAR more than makes up for this with power, speed and agility.
You can also use RAR to test archived files, and repair archives. It's a very handy tool to have for when you need to unpack some archived files on your device. It has handy features to automatically overwrite duplicated files when doing an extraction, or to get rid of the archive file on completion. RAR for Android is completely free, and free of ads, and takes up a tiny footprint under 5MB. There is absolutely no reason not to have this great little tool on your device.
