Review Crazy Taxi™ City Rush

Quality 3D graphics, quality game play, really addictive
Uses a lot of system resources
Crazy Taxi™ City Rush is a hugely addictive driving game. The graphics are outstanding and the play happens in either portrait or landscape mode. You'd better hope to never, ever get a cabbie like this!
Crazy Taxi™ City Rush is a lot of fun. I saw it as an IOS exclusive recently and am happy it's made its way to Android too. The concept is simple: you're a nut-job sorta cab driver who thinks he's in a stunt movie. Race like a bat outta hell to pick up your fare, drive like a maniac through busy city streets, then come to a screeching stop and hope your riders give you a tip. Here's a tip for ya - driving like a maniac is fun, and this game is the safest way to do it, boys and girls. Never try this in real life; much as we'd all love it.
The controls are outstanding; it works almost like a Temple Run sorta game, in that, you just swipe left or right to change lanes; tap and hold to make screeching hairpin turns and pound the brake repeatedly to come to a skidding, spin-out stop. The graphics are very entertaining, and the in-your-face music is apropos, but would definitely grate on the nerves the more you play.
To keep things interesting, there are alternate vehicles to play with. I liked the tank, because the objective changed from dodging traffic, to pummeling as many vehicles as possible with your behemoth tank. There was something very satisfying about flattening everything in sight; very irreverent and fun.
Crazy Taxi™ City Rush is as fun to look at as it is to play. This one has me hooked. Anyone need a ride?
