Unique efffects, possible to produce nice blends, functions quickly
Blendpic for Android gives you an easy way to create that "double exposure" effect, where you have two photos eerily blended together. These can be the same photo, or different photos, and can rotate them around, and use gradients to have only certain parts of the secondary photo blend-in, as well as a percentage slider. Instead of a secondary photo, you can chose from some other pictures of galaxies and bubbles etc. to make your photo look artistic.
The controls in Blendpic are not really that intuitive, and the icons are downright enigmatic. It's rather too easy to lose what you were working on, for example by replacing your backgoround photo with one of the stock photos. If you do this, even pressing "back" won't recover what you were previously working on.
There are a whole load of filters available in Blendpic, but it's hard to pick between them as they are just listed SE01 - SE18, without any preview of what kind of colours to expect.
Some of the supplied artistic images generally work quite well, especially if you remember to reposition them. Blendpic would be more intuitive if it gave you the option to select two photos to blend; or a photo and a stock image, at the start. However, once you have the hang of what the icons and controls do, Blendpic is quite a handy and simple way to quickly blend two pictures together and save or share them.
