Action packed skateboarding with great visuals

Quality 3D graphics, addictive game play, simple controls
Uses a lot of system resources, kills your battery, inconvenient to play on a small screen, animation is a bit laggy
Epic Skater for Android is high energy, high impact and lots of fun. Ride your skateboard through an urban obstacle course, do tricks and hit rad combos in this highly addictive thrasher.
Epic Skater has a lot going for it. The game starts out with a kid in school who darts out of the classroom and goes skating through the city streets. The action is fast paced and the play is addictive. Do jumps, ollie off rails and ultimately face plant and go splat, cuz that's just what skaters do. The environment is ever changing and visually appealing. Plus it's very satisfying to hit jumps and do ridiculous stunts.
The controls are highly simplistic and add to the fun of the play. Just touch and hold the screen to crouch and ride, then release to jump, and swipe to do an array of different tricks. The controls are highly responsive, assuring that skilled and nuanced play are at work, which keeps the game interesting and engaging.
The animation is excellent and the colorful visuals really draw you into the action. There's a lot going on and it changes constantly, so it all keeps you guessing and on your toes. The renders did lag occasionally, but the play and visuals are solidly entertaining. Wipe-outs are entertaining and look painful, in a cartoonish sorta way.
The app ran my CPU really hot, so it's a big time battery killer. And there are loads of IAPs, however, this is a gamer's game that stands up on its own, without an overly greedy undertone.
Epic Skater is presented well, is highly entertaining and the visuals draw you in and hold your interest. This is an action packed game that should entertain for a while because it's just downright fun.
