Seven Minute Workout for Android is a workout program consisting of "calisthenics" exercises. These are all those exercises like sit ups, push ups, step ups and jumping jacks, where you don't need any kind of equipment at all. If you're like me, you see people doing these exercises all the time, but you aren't really sure what many of them are called. So Seven Minute Workout will also help to improve your workout vocabulary, as well as helping you get ripped; so you will finally know the difference between a squat and a crunch.
The workouts last only Seven minutes, but it's a pretty intense Seven minutes that will make you sweat. You are made to do each activity for 30 seconds, with short breaks in between. Seven doesn't tell you how many push ups you should do; just to go for it for 30 seconds. I find this easier to follow than other programs that ask you to do a set amount. It makes sense to just make sure you are doing a variety of exercises, and to go at your own pace, which will quickly improve if you keep at it.
Seven encourages to keep up your seven minute workouts every day for Seven months; giving you three "hearts" (chances to miss a day) which can also be regenerated by meeting certain targets. These game-like features can help to keep you going with your workouts. The activity tracking will encourage you to increase the number of circuits you do each day. The large images and clear voiceover make it easy to understand what you should be doing as the workout program plays through. The interface encourages you to get straight into the action.
There is one free workout program in Seven Minute Workout (full body) and others focusing on specific body areas (upper body, cardio, etc.) that can be bought for about $3 each. So why not give Seven for Android a try, you have nothing to lose (except for a bit of weight hopefully!)
