Quality animation, neat graphics, exciting plot, really addictive, simple controls
Beyond Gravity for Android offers classic arcade style play with simple controls and highly addictive play. This one's a veritable monkey on any true gamer's back.
Beyond Gravity is one of those games I truly love. It’s genius in its simplicity, the controls are excellent and the play is diabolically addictive. You are the captain of a spaceship that has crash landed in a desolate planetary system. Your mission, is to bound from one spinning asteroid to the next, collecting nuts and bolts to fix your goofy craft. Just keep bounding as far as you can, for as long as you can, without drifting off into oblivion. Yeah I know, none of that really makes sense from a scientific standpoint, but most great games never have a true grip on reality.
The graphics are incredibly fun. I love the silly and comical presentation and goofy sounds. The controls are utter genius; just touch the screen to pop a squat, then release to leap and bound. Strategy comes into play because you have to plan your jumps and time everything just right; miss the next asteroid, and you’ll plummet to your comical, yet untimely, death. There's no second chances in this one; if you die, you start all over from square one.
Beyond Gravity is hugely addictive. It’s the sort of game you play round after round until someone smacks you upside the head and brings you back to reality. I already can’t wait to play again, but I had to take a little timeout to write this review. So if you’ll excuse me, I have some bounding to do.
