Shady characters and a comic protagonist racing game

Great story, simple controls
What happens when a cocky, wise guy, racecar driver is saved from serving jail time by a shady parole officer? Madness ensues, of course and Delivery Outlaw is born. There are plenty of games out there that have you driving 2D vehicles across rough terrain, but this one really manages to stand out.
The main thing that separates this game from the pack is the story. It is well written, with plenty of comic dialogue and amusing cut-scenes, the story manages to gain attention right from the start. The protagonist is tasked by his shady parole officer with delivering all sorts of dubious shipments in order to avoid jail time. Whether it’s delivering a barrel marked hazardous on a scooter, or transporting a coffin through a spooky bayou, at night, the game offers plenty of amusement at every turn.
In order to maneuver your vehicle across the rough terrain more smoothly, the game offers a choice between on screen buttons and a combination of buttons and device tilting. Personally the tilting style of control was rather unresponsive and hard to use, but the buttons worked perfectly and allowed me to complete deliveries in record time.
Overall Delivery Outlaw for Android offers nothing special in terms of gameplay, but it makes up for it with an amusing storyline and comic graphic art. Customization is a nice little feature added. You can add some new parts to your vehicle to make it navigate the terrain better or run faster. You can also change the look of your vehicle, though some options, such as the flower power scooter may not be for everyone.
