Epic soundtrack, nice story, interesting mechanics
Graphics could have been better
Let's pretend for a moment that space exploration was not limited by fuel, technology or time. Infinity Space is a game that puts you in charge of a space shuttle and sends you out to explore the vast infinity of space in the name of the fictional organization M.A.S.A.
Unlike most runner games, in Infinity Space for Android you can set out and explore in any direction you feel like. Go farther and farther from Earth and discover new planets in the farthest reaches of space; all the while avoiding the cosmic dangers that the universe throws at you. Solar flares, meteor belts, black holes and even all the gravity fields of each individual planet - some of the dangers you will face. The universe you explore is constantly changing around you, solar flares and meteors move around you, only to be drawn in when they approach a black hole or a planet. Controls could not be simpler. A simple virtual joystick on the left side of the screen controls your ship and on the right side you have virtual buttons for the various upgrades you can apply to your ship.
The sheer awesomeness of being a pilot of a seemingly endless amount of ships, powered by an infinite ammount of fuel is increased tenfold by the brilliant music introduced in the game. No other soundtrack could be as fitting for this game than the one already chosen.
Overall it's a brilliant game. So many people dream of being astronauts and going to explore the universe. Great mechanics combined with the fact that you can change your ship into other famous ones make for a fun experience and bring you a little closer to your childhood dream.
