Quirky, exciting game play, addictive game play
Lags a bit, uses a lot of system resources, quickly kills your battery
Big Action Mega Fight! for Android is actually quite addictive. It started out a little slow, but before long, I was hooked and having fun beating the crap ouuta zombies and thugs.
Big Action Mega Fight! is easy to underestimate at first look. Basically, you’re a goombah Jersey type and the thugs are trying to give your business the shakedown for some protection money. But you decide to take to the streets and do some thumping of your own. And let me tell you, it wasn't long before I was picturing a few people in life that I’m ticked off at, and blew off some steam imagining I was beating the crap outta them instead. It’s cheaper than therapy, oh so satisfying, and you can’t get arrested for battery. That’s a lot of bang for a 2 buck app; literally.
The controls are great; just swipe left or right to give a lunging punch. Swipe up for an uppercut. Swipe down to pick things up and hurl them. The action is fast and frantic against an array of odd looking zombie thugs that come at you in swarms. The sounds are great too, but this definitely drains the ol’ battery and runs the CPU hot.
Big Action Mega Fight! was a pleasant surprise. I like it a lot more than I thought I would and find it highly entertaining and addictive. Beating the crap out of these guys is just good fun.
