Completely free, can be played without in-app purchases, neat graphics, simple controls
Unremovable ads, aggressive ad system
NEO Mushroom Garden is a mushroom planting and harvesting app for Android. These mushrooms grow on 2 logs and your tasks are called order. By choosing a fungi food, these fungi will grow on the log for a period of time and that time will depend on the duration that you chose for the fungi food. Basically, you will just need to choose a duration and wait for the mushrooms to grow. When they are ripe, just swipe your finger across the screen to harvest them. After you have harvested the ripe mushrooms, more will continue to grow as long as there is time left on the fungi food’s duration.
The controls are simple, just like any other harvesting game. You just have to tap any options that you would like to access and run your finger across the screen to harvest whatever mushrooms are ready. It also has a food machine that lets you make your own fungi food that has different effects that affect the growth of your mushroom and the type of mushroom. The background music is as entertaining as the way the mushrooms dance. For people who don’t have the patience to watch the mushrooms grow and listen to the background music, you can leave the app and the mushrooms continue to grow. The timer for the fungi food will consume as well.
Although the app doesn’t have any tutorial in the beginning, there is everything you need to know about the game and every help that you can possibly need. Another thing that makes this app very appealing is the graphics. It looks really appealing to my eyes for some reason. Plus, the mushroom are somehow adorable. The only flaw that I can see is how there is no option to purchase or donate. Meaning, there is no way that you can get rid of the ads.
NEO Mushroom Garden is pretty cool and entertaining harvesting app for Android. You can grow and harvest mushrooms, collect different kinds of mushrooms (including rare ones), and you can experiment with different ingredients to find out what food is the best for your mushrooms.
