Life Time Alarm Clock for Android is very chic and functional. Alarms are easy to set and can be tweaked to your liking in a multitude of ways.
Life Time Alarm Clock is probably the coolest looking alarm clock app I've personally tried. The interface is very modern and looks stylish. The clock has nice big hands and numerical readouts that are very easy to see and read, even on smaller screens. Alarms are both cool and easy to set. Just touch the clock onscreen and drag an animated bubble around the dial to set minutes and hours. The displayed day and date is clean and very legible.
The app features text cues to help you figure out how everything works the first time; very easy and presented well. Easily set alarms for specific days of the week and add Pre-alarm and Snooze functionality. I love how you can choose from a host of stock audio alarms or just use an MP3 of your choosing. The crescendo feature is lovely; rather than that jarring ‘beep-beep!’ we all dread hearing, this app gradually increases the volume of the alarms so you can awaken more gently.
The truly diabolical part of this app is the challenge questions; you can set it so that an action is required before the alarm stops sounding. This is excellent for those people who sleep through their alarms. But it’s also a bit sadistic to think people can do basic math or play a game of 'match the pictures' at the onset of waking. I think it’s a great feature, but could result in some gizmos being hurled across the room in frustration.
Life Time Alarm Clock is a very nice alarm clock app. And from what I can tell, it’s fully functional and absolutely free, with no ads. Grab it, it’s a good one!
