Atlantis Adventure: match – 3 for Android is one of the better match 3 games I've tried in a while. This is a very overpopulated genre and there are a lot of terrible ones to sift through. But this game is actually fresh and innovative.
Atlantis Adventure: match – 3 seems like just another match ‘em game on the surface. But I was pleasantly surprised by the work and thought that went into this one. The opening graphics unfold more like a quality children’s adventure book, and it's one of the rare occasions that I didn't mind reading the entire back story. It was very nicely presented, written and animated.
Once you get into the game itself, you’ll find the familiar match 3 style board that we all have come to expect. However, the graphics are quite nice and there are an array of interesting power ups. Some match 3 games really plod along slowly. But Atlantis Adventure was engaging and fun, right from the get go.
Finding matches was somehow smoother and more engaging than other match 3 games I've played. The graphics were inviting and rendered smoothly, and the play was somehow exciting for what I normally find to be an overdone genre. The sounds were also appropriately enjoyable and didn't grate on my nerves like some games. I experienced no glitches and the controls worked smoothly. Just swipe the screen as usual.
Atlantis Adventure: match – 3 was a lot of fun to watch and play. This one has quality graphics and engaging play. I really enjoyed this one. Would be great for gamers of all ages.
