Review TeamViewer for Remote Control
A remote control for your computer
Author: Vlad Popa

Functions quickly, intuitive interface
No significant shortcomings
How many times have you thought: “it would be really useful if i could access my desktop right now”? Well now you can, with Teamviewer. The Teamviewer app is a nifty little tool that allows you to control your home computer via an internet connection directly from your smartphone or tablet.
Once the app is installed on your device and the program is installed in your computer all you need is to input the id and either the randomly generated password or the permanent personal password in the app and you’re all set. Your screen will become your desktop and you can launch and use any program you have installed. You can use it to access that presentation you left at home, run programs remotely or even play games via smartphone or tablet. Of course gaming is not exactly seamless, but it does offer up some interesting possibilities. All these features and more, provided that the computer you want to access was left running.
The interface is simple: a button to bring up your keyboard, a button for the actions menu where you can reboot, lock etc. a button for settings and instructions and a full screen button. The rest is self-explanatory: scrolling moves your mouse, tap to click, holding your finger will perform a right click, pinching zooms your screen, and dragging two fingers on the screen functions similar to the touchpad scroll or a mouse wheel.
Definitely a must have app. When it comes down to it Teamviewer is a well thought app, with huge practical applications in your day to day life. The fact that you can use it non-commercially for free is just icing on the cake.
