Can be played without in-app purchases, atmospheric soundtrack, well-balanced difficulty, simple controls
Monotonous game play
Abyss Attack for Android has a lot to offer ranging from hours of gameplay to an exciting variety of weapons and power-ups to blast your way through the sea by playing as a submarine and destroying underwater creatures that come across.
Playing as the submarine, you are expected to use your guns and reflexes to kill the aquatic hostile creatures and make your way to other zones which are more difficult.
You start off with the level by choosing your secondary power-up that you can use in case you are the verge of losing, three hearts that can sustain three hits from the hostiles, and your primary gun with unlimited ammo. The graphics of the game are mind-blowing with the neon coloured creatures, the deepness of the underwater environment, and the blast-off of enemies when you shoot them.
Sound effects are not left back either, the music perfectly blends in with the graphics to create an experience like none other, only left back by the endless shooter concept given to a game that can be given a completely different storyline and the otherwise small amount of upgrades and items to buy, limiting the variety. But anyways, the awesome gameplay, graphics, and sounds make this a good game on its own.
Abyss attack certainly is a great game to download - I’m keeping it. The lack of variety was a small letdown, but nonetheless, this game will surely keep you hooked!
