Nice retro graphics, dynamic gameplay, simple controls
No significant drawbacks
Mikey Hooks is a continuation of the famous platform game for Android devices called Mikey Shorts. It really looks like the game was inspired by Mario game series because of its retro graphics, obstacles, and gameplay perks. And though Mikey Hooks isn’t that different from the previous game, it’s still worth giving a look.
Your aim in every of 75 levels this game features will be to run forward, avoid obstacles and monsters, and collect coins and your doubles. The game is controlled in a simple and quite standard way: use the on-screen buttons to move left or right as well as to jump and slide. Also, by tapping the red button twice you will be able to hook to the ropes that will help you jump over monsters and gather more coins.
The game also features another playing mode where you will need to compete with ghost opponents and become the first to reach the finish line and collect as many bonuses as you can.
Mikey Hooks is a nice dynamic mario-like platform game for Android devices where you will need to show your dexterity skills by running forward, overcoming obstacles, and killing monsters by jumping on them. The game costs $1 and features no significant drawbacks.
