Medieval battle against mythic beasts

Quality sound, decent graphics, interesting plot
Glitches, is lagging, not interesting game play, low quality animation
Knights & Dragons for Android is a medieval fantasy combat game. Build your kingdom, explore strange lands and do battle against knights and mythic beasts.
Knights & Dragons has a lot going for it. The game takes place on an interactive map of a fantasy style kingdom. You are a knight in shining armor charged with proving his mettle. Visit the blacksmith, gear up with armor and weapons, then challenge opponents to battle. I love the fantasy element to it all. And the interactive map of the kingdom looks inviting and inspires discovery. Earn experience points to build up your forces and skills.
The graphics are just ok; not overly detailed, however, they look good. It's the animation where it all falls apart; it's very choppy and doesn't render well. Battles between opponents are very static and uninteresting. You don't really do much but watch the fight unfold in turn-by-turn style play. Victories are won far too easily, and have a crude look and feel overall.
I think children might love this game because it's a great entry level app for gamers who maybe aren't that skilled. The limited movement and battle options lend themselves well to developing players, and the fantasy element is sure to intrigue.
Knights & Dragons is a decent game overall, however, it needs a lot more refinement before it is worthy of all the upgrades it's trying to sell you. Serious gamers will likely lose interest, fast.
