Review Flip Master
Are you the king of the trampoline?

Hilarious but realistic physics, tight controls, rewards that actually matter
Gameplay does get repetitive, drab art style
Are trampolines fun? Depends on who you ask. Me? I think they’re unlicensed death machines just waiting to suck away some poor kid’s soul. But I probably wasn’t a very fun kid to hang around. Flip Master for Android was a game that, at first glance, I really wasn’t excited about. But I was curious about how a seemingly bland trampoline game managed to make its way to number 6 in the top free sports games - a niche category, yes, but still.
Well, as it turns out, it’s really fun to see how far you can launch a rag doll and make it land in the most painful way possible. This game has some pretty realistic physics that I actually managed to have a lot of fun with. It’s one of the few mobile games where you can actually make up your own sub game .
The controls are fairly straightforward. Tapping and holding the screen will cause your character to flip. You can tap to the left or right to make sure they don’t fly off - or in my case, to ensure they do. If your character lands on its head or off the trampoline, the fun ride is over and you have to start over again.
As you play, you can unlock new characters to play as that have their own perks. Characters on their own are fairly generic, but there is a ninja and a dog. You can also get new levels that drastically change the way the game looks. And, more importantly, you can unlock new tricks that will help out your score multiplier.
Overall, I’ve gotta say, Flip Master is a lot more fun than I thought it was going to be. The physics are really fun to mess around with and I was surprised by how high quality the graphics actually were despite how bland the art style is. This game is definitely a sleeper.
