Intriguing gameplay, over 100 levels, great music
Getting into a new game isn't instant, if a ball gets stuck then you have to manually restart the game
Mobile arcade games are a dime a dozen and if you ask 50 people what their favorite is, you will get 50 different answers. It’s a wide genre that offers a lot of entertainment in short bursts, but it’s often times just that - a good way to spend 15 minutes before moving on to the next thing. Drop Flip for Android is a mobile game worthy of spending at least 30 minutes with, however.
This is a fun physics-based game that doesn’t actually try to grate on your nerves. In fact, it tries to get out of your way as much as possible so you can simply enjoy the game for what it is. So, what exactly is it? Well, it’s a game where you have to drop a ball from a point and get it into a bucket by manipulating objects around it in order to create an improvised path.
The tutorial is quick, easy and intuitive. It includes the main three principles you need to know to play the game: how to drop the ball, how to move an object and how to flip an object. You’ll need to move and flip objects in specific ways in order to complete the game’s 100+ levels. Progression in these levels goes from incredibly easy to mindbogglingly difficult.
Drop Flip uses trial and error and turns it into a fun gameplay mechanic. The music is great, the presentation is simple yet effective and the game is just a joy to play.
