Have you ever wondered about the relationship between positive and negative electrical charges? Well, in Tangled Up for Android, you’ll get to see the age old adage of opposites attract in this exciting arcade puzzle game. It features over 180 levels that will bend your mind and keep you entertained.
Honestly, I didn’t really understand the game’s mechanics when I was running through the tutorial. The problem with the tutorial is that it holds your hand way too much. You can mindlessly run through it because it tells you each and every move you make, and then when you’re thrown into the actual game you “wake up” and realize you have no idea what you were just doing. Fortunately, the game isn’t really that complex.
Every side of the grid is surrounded by magnets that will pull or push your electric charges around the level. There are two charges, one positively charged and the other negative. The magnets will usually affect both of the charges at the same time, so you have to plan ahead and balance where each moves in order to get them where they need to go. At first the game is real simple because levels start symmetrically, but as soon as the game becomes asymmetrical you’ve really gotta think about what your moves are going to be ahead of time.
I really enjoyed Tangled Up because it employed a lot of really interested mechanics I hadn’t seen in a mobile puzzle game like this before. There is plenty of content to keep someone entertained for quite a while, and the progression comes nice and steady.
