Advisors add depth to the game, fun graphics
No real clicker mechanics, doesn't have a lot of overall depth
I’ve always been a huge fan of clickers. Something about passively, or sometimes non-passively, earning money/points/whatever is highly addictive. Taps to Riches for Android is a semi-clicker that really is more like a passive money generator than anything else, but that doesn’t mean it’s not a fun game to dive into.
Taps is really a set it and forget it type of game. That is to say, you won’t be spending large swathes of time clicking various things in the game in order to generate money. The game revolves around purchasing various properties that will earn money passively. There are no RPG mechanics here like a lot of more recent clickers. Nope, this is a good ol’fashioned clicker. You can level up your buildings which cause them to generate more revenue, and you can upgrade them so they generate revenue faster, too.
This is a big earner. Twenty minutes into the game and you’ll already need millions of dollars to upgrade your real estate legacy and expand it. The game itself is broken up into different areas. Once you have enough money, you can move into a new area and make even more money. You’ll collect advisors along the way and these advisors can benefit you based on various areas you own.
Taps to Riches isn’t a game you really need to babysit. Instead, it’ll be something you occasionally check in on throughout the day so you can upgrade your buildings. If you need something to be more of a distraction than anything else then this is perfect. If you’re looking for a deep experience then you might wanna skip out on this one.
