Review Wallpapers

Brandon Girod
9.2Excellent
Simple interface, no cropping required
Limited amount of wallpapers, few categories
Phones are incredibly personal devices, but the funny thing about them is that thanks to their industrialized design, they all kind of look the same. That’s where a good, clean wallpaper comes in. Wallpapers are the backbone of your phone’s identity, and now Google has a great way to help you maintain an always fresh look: Wallpapers for Android.
Wallpapers is a pretty simple name for a pretty simple app. What can you do in the app? Browse for wallpapers. Obviously. What’s great about this app is that there really isn’t much to it, even when it comes to what kind of wallpaper you want to choose. There are only a handful of categories you can pick from, and even from there, it’s not like there is a never-ending list of wallpapers to choose from. I typically find my wallpapers on sites like 500px, wallcrave or just through a simple Google image search, but this a good option, too.
One of the coolest features the app has is its ability to swap your wallpaper daily. Simply going into your favorite category and select the option to update the wallpaper daily and viola! Now every day you’ll wake up to a fresh new wallpaper to help keep things looking cool.
Wallpapers is a really great app due to how everything just feels handpicked. Wallpapers are all high quality, they look good and they all fit my phone without having to make any annoying crops. If you’re looking for an easy way to slap a new wallpaper on your phone, give this app a shot. It won’t satisfy all your needs, but it’s great at keeping things simple.
