Addictive gameplay, fast and frantic, really responsive controls
Poor skins, no tutorial
Typically, when I read the name of a game and it includes words in the title specifically for SEO purposes then I tend to have low hopes for it. Bonecrusher: Free Endless Game for Android actually surprised me with a really unique - albeit totally frantic - gameplay experience that I definitely wasn’t expecting.
My first run with the game lasted approximately a second as my poor skull was immediately crushed by a giant pillar with spikes on the bottom of it. I didn’t realize what exactly was going on because the game offers no tutorial or guide to tell you how to play. In this case, it’s totally fine because you’ll learn almost instantly and be well on your way. Failing is one of the best ways to learn, after all.
My second run went a lot better and I gradually became more and more comfortable with the game. The general gist is that there will be rows of columns. One of the rows will have spikes on the bottom, so you want to make sure you’re not under the spiked column when it comes crashing down. You’ll be safe under the others. Once you get into higher levels, there will be more columns, so more safe opportunities, but more opportunities to die, too.
I was surprised by how much I actually enjoyed Bonecrusher: Free Endless Game despite how downright frantic the gameplay can get at times. It’s definitely one that will keep you on your toes. If you’re looking for a good arcade game that actually has dynamic gameplay, this one has it.
