Never ending gameplay, addictive, fun progression
Limited environments, grindy
If you want to experience some nonstop action RPG gameplay then look no further than Nonstop Knight for Android. This is a semi-clicker, semi-action RPG where you’re constantly fighting, upgrading and diving deeper and deeper into the game’s dungeon until you just can’t venture any further.
If I’m being honest, the game more or less plays itself, hence why I called it a semi-clicker in the intro. Your knight will move forward and auto attack all on his own. As the player, you can use your knight’s cooldown moves to your advantage and more or less speed up the gameplay a bit. This also helps do extra DPS against bosses.
As your knight takes down enemies, he’ll gather up coin that you can use to upgrade your weapons, your armor and your cloak. As you might expect, your weapons and armor increase your damage output and your health, respectively, but your cloak can do different things depending on what kind of stats are on it. You’ll find new gear as you play through the game and defeat bosses, so there is always something new to look forward to.
The combat wasn’t a big draw for me since I was more or less just watching my knight go around while I would occasionally feel the necessity to tap on some skills. What I was more interested in was the leveling up and progression. If a game features good progression then I’m sold, and this one’s got it.
Nonstop Knight is a fun action RPG that offered more of an experience than I was expecting it to. I wish you didn't have to nurse it so much because I think if this game had more clicker mechanics in it then it would be even better.
