Review That Level Again 3

7.8Good
Features a new story, expanded levels
Puzzles seem way more difficult that before, same visuals
If you’ve played any of the previous games before, That Level Again 3 for Android isn’t going to be much of a surprise. This time, you’re back at it again in a brand new level that opens up quite a bit more than you might traditionally be used to. You’re not just playing through a level, you’re playing through multiple levels and there’s even a story involved.
I’ll be honest, this game stumped me right off the bat. It’s been a bit since I played some of the previous games and their line of logic totally escaped me when I jumped back in. Even when I thought I was starting to get the hang of things, I’ll admit I still needed to use the hint system more times than I think I ever have previously. By the way, the hint system basically asks you to watch an ad before giving you a hint. If you’re still totally stumped, you can skip the level.
Not much has changed in terms of the art style. Everything is still really basic and the puzzle logic seems to be more or less the same as in the previous installments, though there were a few that still made me think outside the box a bit more than I was used to. The biggest change is the addition of the story, which is simple but effective.
That Level Again 3 is actually a pretty serviceable sequel to the original games. It retains everything that fans of the series have come to expect, but expands its ideas for players who just want more TLA.
