A really great RPG based in the Marvel universe

Impressive graphics, complex combat system
Uses an energy system
Recently I’ve stumbled across a goldmine of quest-like games that feature a band of characters traveling around and combating foes, and they’ve all been really good. Marvel Something 2 for Android continues that tradition. It’s easily one of the best looking games that I’ve seen on Android and probably even one of the best games I’ve seen period. It just looks fantastic. The combat isn’t too bad either.
So right out of the gate, I was blown away by just how much like a comic book this game looked. It’s one of the only games that I’ve just kind of sat and stared at because I thought it was just so beautiful. The great thing is that even the combat in this game is good.
Combat in this game plays out much like a turn-based RPG you might find in a game like Pokemon or even the old Final Fantasy Games. In the tutorial, the game will give you a host of heroes to play around with so you can get an idea and feel for what the game is like. You’ll then be left to your own devices. Each hero has four different skills that each have their own buffs, debuffs and other factors you’ll want to consider when strategizing fights.
Complaints about this game are far and few between. It uses and energy system, and it does seem like running out of energy is a very real possibility, and the way the game structures missions tends to run a bit long when compared to similar games.
Overall, I think Marvel Something 2 is a really great RPG. It’s got amazing graphics and good gameplay.
